HOW DOES ZORB-IT WORK?
Zorb-It™ is a proprietary granular formulation which is designed to control relative humidity and ambient moisture for the protection of your valuable and prized possessions. Relative Humidity changes almost constantly on a daily cycle. This daily cycle is caused by changes in temperature and weather conditions, even in "climate controlled" environments.
Zorb-It™ works by absorbing humidity and moisture from the air surrounding the packets as the humidity increases. As the humidity decreases through the daily cycle, it will work to release just enough moisture to stabilize the enclosed environment at the long-term average relative humidity level.
Zorb-It™ will then hold the environment at this average, reducing the humidity and stabilizing it near a constant value. This stabilizing action is the key preservative factor for your prized possessions and valuable instruments because, especially with electronics and metals, as the relative humidity records a linear increase, the potential for corrosion increases exponentially.
